YOUR INFORMATION / PRIVACY
Privacy Policy.
This policy explains how Cresslink Tech Solutions handles personal information when you visit our website, contact us, submit a project brief, use a client project link, or buy a digital product.
Last updated: 17 October 2026
1. Who we are
“Cresslink”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Cresslink Tech Solutions, an independent software studio based in Nigeria. We decide how personal information described in this policy is used. For privacy questions or requests, email cresslink@outlook.com.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:
- Contact and project enquiry details: your name, email address, selected service, budget range, and the information you provide in a message or project brief.
- Project brief attachments: files you choose to send with a brief. The brief form sends them to our project team by email; the application records attachment names rather than storing the uploaded file contents.
- Client project workspace information: project task updates, comments, review feedback, and the project link token needed to open a shared workspace.
- Purchase and donation records: product or donation amount, currency, payment reference, checkout identifier, and payment/session status. Payment card details are handled by Bachs, the payment provider, rather than entered on this website.
- Basic technical and usage information: information needed to operate and secure the site, and, when Google Analytics is enabled, website usage and device/browser information collected by Google Analytics.
3. How we use information
We use information to respond to enquiries, assess and deliver projects, communicate project progress, provide purchased products, verify payments, administer donations, protect the site and its users, understand aggregate website usage, and meet legal or accounting obligations.
We process information where it is needed to respond to your request or perform an agreement, to meet legal obligations, for legitimate operational and security interests, or on the basis of your consent where consent is required. You can withdraw consent where processing relies on it.
4. Service providers and sharing
We share only the information needed with providers that help us operate the business:
- Wasmer: website hosting and application infrastructure.
- Resend: delivery of contact and project enquiry emails, including any attachments you submit.
- Bachs: payment checkout and transaction processing for products and donations.
- Google Analytics: website measurement when analytics is configured.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer. These providers may process information in countries outside Nigeria; we take steps required by applicable data protection law when information is transferred.
5. Cookies and analytics
The site uses cookies or similar storage where needed for core functions such as security and session handling. If Google Analytics is enabled, Google may use cookies or similar technologies to measure visits and interactions. You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may affect some site functions.
6. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including responding to enquiries, completing projects, maintaining payment and accounting records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations. We then delete or anonymise it where practicable. Analytics retention is also affected by the settings of the analytics service.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. No website, email transmission, or online service can be guaranteed completely secure. Please do not submit passwords, payment card details, or other sensitive information through enquiry forms or project briefs.
8. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to provide access to, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information; object to certain processing; request a portable copy; or withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. To make a request, email cresslink@outlook.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting. You may also lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
9. Third-party links and changes
Our site may link to other websites, including external products and payment services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices. We may update this policy as our services or legal requirements change; the latest version will be published on this page with its updated date.
